fishing village

northeast
Iceland

northern
coast

Langanes
peninsula

Þistilfjörður
bay

people

administrative centre
of
Langanesbyggð
municipality
and of the
neighbouring
Svalbarðshreppur
municipality. In Þórshöfn there is a year-round service to tourists, and
