Ravan
is a small
settlement
in the
Municipality of Gorenja Vas–Poljane
in the
Upper Carniola
region
of
Slovenia
.
The
local church
is dedicated to
Saint Bricius
. It is a
late Gothic
structure
with a five-sided
apse
and a
square
nave
. Although it was extended in the
late 18th century
, early
16th-century
frescos
, some
painted
by
Jernej of Loka
,
survive
in the
sanctuary
. The main
altar
dates
to the late
17th century
with 16th-century statues.
