Žarko Šešum


Žarko Šešum is a Serbian handball player for Swiss club Kadetten Schaffhausen and the Serbia national team.

Career

Born in Bačka Palanka, Šešum started out at his hometown club Sintelon. He was promoted to the senior squad in 2002, aged 16. In early 2007, Šešum moved to Hungary and signed with MKB Veszprém. He helped the side win three consecutive championships. In 2010, Šešum was transferred to Rhein-Neckar Löwen, spending the next four seasons with the club.
Šešum made his major international debut for Serbia at the 2009 World Men's Handball Championship. He was also a member of the team that won the silver medal at the 2012 European Men's Handball Championship, but missed the final due to injury.
He competed in Handball at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
