1939 Amateur World Series
The 1939 Amateur World Series was the second Amateur World Series, later known as the Baseball World Cup. Great Britain did not defend the title which they had won in the inaugural event the previous year. It was instead contested by Cuba, Nicaragua and the United States playing six games each from August 12 through August 26 in Cuba, who won the tournament.Venue
