1965 BYU Cougars football team
The 1965 BYU Cougars football team was an American football team that represented Brigham Young University in the Western Athletic Conference during the 1965 NCAA University Division football season. In their second season under head coach Tommy Hudspeth, the Cougars compiled a 6–4 record, won the WAC championship, and outscored opponents by a total of 229 to 178. The WAC championship in 1965 was the first conference championship in program history.
