1969 US Open – Women's Singles


defeated Nancy Richey in the final, 6–2, 6–2, to win the Women's Singles tennis title at the 1969 US Open. This was Court's third Grand Slam title of the year, her third US Open title and her sixteenth Grand Slam overall. Court would went on to win the next five Grand Slams, setting a record for most consecutive Grand Slam titles in the Open Era at six.
Virginia Wade was the defending champion, but lost in the semifinals to Margaret Court.
