1972 Purdue Boilermakers football team

The 1972 Purdue Boilermakers football team represented Purdue University during the 1972 Big Ten Conference football season. It was Bob DeMoss' final season as head coach of the team.
This was the first time Purdue played an 11-game schedule. Every Big Ten team except the Boilermakers and Ohio State added an 11th game for the first time in 1971. The Buckeyes did not play an 11-game slate until 1974.
