1974–75 Iraqi National League
The 1974–75 Iraqi National League was the 1st ever season of the competition since the Iraq Football Association founded it as the country's first nationwide league of clubs. Al-Tayaran won the title.- Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya renamed to Al-Tayaran.
- Al-Sikak Al-Hadeed renamed to Al-Naqil.
- Al-Kahrabaa renamed to Al-Sinaa.
- Al-Muwasalat were formed by the merging of Al-Minaa and Al-Bareed.
- Al-Baladiyat were formed by the merging of Maslahat Naqil Al-Rukab and Esalet Al-Mai.
- Al-Shorta were registered as a single sports club to take the place of Aliyat Al-Shorta, Shorta Al-Najda and Kuliya Al-Shorta in IFA competitions.
- Al-Jaish were registered as a single sports club to take the place of Quwat Salahaddin, Quwat Al-Nasr and Quwat Mohammed Al-Qasim in IFA competitions.
