1974 County Championship
The 1974 County Championship was the 75th officially organised running of the County Championship. Worcestershire won the Championship title.The method of allocating bonus points changed as follows: -
Batting during the first 100 overs of each first innings
- 1 point for scoring 150-199
- 2 points for scoring 200-249
- 3 points for scoring 250-299
- 4 points for scoring over 300
Bowling during the first 100 overs of each first innings
- 1 point for 3 or 4 wickets
- 2 points for 5 or 6 wickets
- 3 points for 7 or 8 wickets
- 4 points for 9 or 10 wickets
