1988 World Snooker Championship


The 1988 World Snooker Championship was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place between 16 April and 2 May 1988 at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield, England.
Steve Davis won his fifth world title, defeating Terry Griffiths 18–11 in the final. The tournament was sponsored by cigarette manufacturer Embassy.
