1990 Wimbledon Championships – Women's Singles


defeated Zina Garrison in the final, 6–4, 6–1 to win the Ladies' Singles tennis title at the 1990 Wimbledon Championships. This was Navratilova's ninth singles title at Wimbledon, which would be her 18th and final Grand Slam singles title, tying the then - Open Era record of Chris Evert. Steffi Graf was the defending champion, but lost in the semifinals to Zina Garrison. This was the first time since the 1987 Australian Open that Graf did not reach a Grand Slam final, ending a record of 13 consecutive major finals.
