1995 US Open – Women's Singles
defeated Monica Seles 7-6, 0–6, 6–3 in the final to win the Women's Singles tennis title at the 1995 US Open. By winning her US Open title, Graf equaled Chris Evert and Martina Navratilova's Open Era record of 18 Grand Slam singles titles. Graf remains the only player to win each major at least 4 times. It marked the first time Graf and Seles would meet in a US Open final. It was also the first Grand Slam tournament entrance of Seles since her 1993 stabbing.
Arantxa Sanchez Vicario was the defending champion, but she lost in the fourth round to Mary Joe Fernandez.Seeds
