1999–2000 NBL season


The 1999–2000 NBL season was the 22nd season of competition since its establishment in 1979. A total of 11 teams contested the league. The Newcastle Falcons folded and were replaced by the Cairns Taipans.

Regular season

The home and away season took place over 24 rounds between 2 October 1999 and 11 March 2000 with finals starting 15 March 2000 until 3 April 2000 and grand final on 7–12 April 2000.
