2004–05 NBL season


The 2004–05 NBL season was the 27th season of competition since its establishment in 1979. A total of 11 teams contested the league, the Victoria Giants has been folded.

Regular season

The home and away season took place over 22 rounds between 29 September 2004 and 26 February 2005 with finals starting 1 March 2005 until 5 March 2005 and grand final on 11–19 March 2005.

Ladder

This is the ladder at the end of season, before the finals. In all, 176 games were played, 32 for each team. The top 8 teams qualified for the finals series.
The NBL tie-breaker system as outlined in the NBL Rules and Regulations states that in the case of an identical win-loss record, the results in games played between the teams will determine order of seeding.
