2005 Burgenland state election
The Burgenland state election of 2005 was held in the Austrian state of Burgenland on 9 October 2005.
The SPÖ won the election in a landslide victory. State governor since 2000, Hans Niessl, Burgenland SPÖ chairman, won another term as state governor.
