2009 Ýokary Liga The 2009 Turkmenistan Higher League season was the seventeenth season of Turkmenistan's professional football league . It began on 25 April 2009 with the first round of games and ended on 7 November 2009 with the 18th round of matches. FC Aşgabat are the defending champions. The first half of season finished on 27 June 2009.
