The 2009 BNP Paribas OpenMen's Singles was the main event of the 2009 BNP Paribas Open men's tennis tournament played in Indian Wells, USA from March 9 through March 22, 2009.
Novak Djokovic was the defending champion but he lost in quarterfinals to Andy Roddick 3–6, 2–6.
Rafael Nadal won in the final against Andy Murray 6–1, 6–2.
