2011 Hartford mayoral election


The 2011 Hartford mayoral election was held on November 8, 2011. The election was saw incumbent Democrat Pedro Segarra win election to a first full term. He became the first openly-gay individual elected Mayor of Hartford, and making Hartford the second U.S. state capital to elect an openly gay mayor.

Incumbent Democrat Pedro Segarra won renomination.

Republican nomination

The Republican Party did not nominate a candidate, and instead cross-endorsed incumbent Democrat Pedro Segarra.
