2016–17 Tottenham Hotspur F.C. season
The 2016–17 season was Tottenham Hotspur's 25th season in the Premier League and 39th successive season in the top division of the English football league system. Along with the Premier League, the club competed in the FA Cup, League Cup and the Champions League, as well as the Europa League since they finished third in their Champions League group. They played their home domestic fixtures at White Hart Lane and their home European fixtures at Wembley Stadium. The season covers the period from 1 July 2016 to 30 June 2017.
It was the club's final season at White Hart Lane before it was demolished to make way for the new stadium. Tottenham went the season unbeaten at their old stadium in all competitions: it was the first time they had been unbeaten at home in a league campaign since the 1964–65 season. In winning their final fourteen home league matches, they equalled the club record set over the final nine games of 1986–87 and the first five of 1987–88.
