21st Filmfare Awards South


The 21st Filmfare Awards South Ceremony honoring the winners of the best of South Indian cinema in 1973 is an event held in Shanmukhananda Hall Bombay on 11 April 1974 along with Hindi Awards.
The awards were introduced in 1954, around the films released in 1953. Filmfare Awards initially recognizing the Hindi films. In 1964 Awards extended to Best Picture in Tamil, Telugu, Bengali & Marathi.
