9 Regiment Army Air Corps
9 Regiment Army Air Corps was a regiment of the Army Air Corps. It merged with 1 Regiment Army Air Corps in 2016 which is based at RNAS Yeovilton.
In Apr 2018, 9 Regiment Army Air Corps was taken out of suspension and given as the name of the Battlefield Helicopter Wing of the re-shaped Defence Helicopter Flying School under the UK MFTS contract. 9 Regiment Army Air Corps is now a Tri-Service organisation under 22 Gp and comprises 670 Sqn AAC and 60 Sqn RAF. 9 Regt AAC conducts Advanced RW Training for Pilots and Crewmen who have completed Basic RW Training in the sister DHFS unit, 2 Maritime Air Wing.History
