Abdul Nassar


Abdul Nassar is the second Keralite who conquered Mount Everest, a native of peringodan House from Nedungottur, Thiruvegappura, near Pattambi in Palakkad district of Kerala State.

[Mount Everest] Mission

He conquered Mount Everest on May 16, 2019. They started the Mount Everest mission on April 17, and two of the 26 men team from Spain, Italy, United States, Australia and the UK, along with Abdul Nasser, died before reaching their destination. Abdul Nassar and his team completed the mission in 30 days, climbing 29,029 feet in 30 days to overcome the adverse weather conditions of the mountain.

Ironman 2018 Competition in [Malaysia]

He was named Ironman of the Year at the Ironman 2018 Competition in Malaysia. Abdul Nassar won the Iron Man's title in 14 hours and 57 minutes, completing the 42.2 km race, the 3.8 km swim by the sea, and the 180 km cycle. Also he participated in the Ironman 2018 Competition in Sri Lanka. Also he participated many Marathon tournaments around the world including Paris Marathon. Abdul Nasser received the Qatar Indian Embassy Sports Excellence Award in 2018. He has also published his story, the book named The Roadless Travelled .

Personal life

Abdul Nasser is the son of P Kunhahammed Musliyar and Nafisa, a scholar and Samastha Palakkad District Vice President and Professor of Markaz Arabic College, Kartala, Valancheri. He graduated in Commerce subject from Sree Neelakanta Government Sanskrit College Pattambi . He is currently working as a Chartered Accountant at Qatar Petroleum.
