Acsenda School of Management


The Acsenda School of Management – Vancouver, formerly known as Sprott Shaw Degree College, is a private, for-profit Canadian degree college headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Patrick Dang was president of Acsenda from 2010 until 2014. Dr. Lindsay Redpath took over as President in 2014 and continued in the role until July 31, 2017. Neil Mort officially became the current president in 2018.

History

In December 2007, Sprott-Shaw Community College Was acquired by the CIBT Education Group.
In 2015 Acsenda School of Management was acquired by EduCo Global .

Programs

Acsenda offers bachelor's degrees in Business Administration and Hospitality Management degrees. In the BBA program, students can choose from concentrations in marketing, human resources, accounting, international business or general business.
Acsenda's entrance requirements are grades of C+ or higher.
Students complete 120 credits for the BBA and BHM programs, or 40 courses at 3 credits per course. There are four terms per academic year.
Acsenda is listed in the British Columbia Transfer Credit Guide.
Acsenda offers its degrees under the written consent of the Minister of Advance Education, Skills and Training of the British Columbia Education Quality Assurance program as well as the Degree Quality Assessment Board of British Columbia.

Locations

Acsenda's Vancouver campus is located on the 2nd Floor 666 Burrard Street Vancouver, British Columbia as of October 2018. Its previous location was at 1090 West Pender Street in Vancouver.
