Akira Toriyama: The World is an image soundtrack featuring music from three anime film adaptations of works by Akira Toriyama: , Pink: Water Bandit, Rain Bandit and Kennosuke-sama. It was released by Columbia Records on July 7, 1990.

This album features vocal tracks from the films based on three Akira Toriyama properties featured at the 1990 Toei Anime Fair of the same name, which were Pink: Water Bandit, Rain Bandit, Kennosuke-sama, and '. Tracks 2-4 would go on to be included in fourth volume of the ', ' and the '.

A month later Columbia released a follow up call Akira Toriyama: The World Pink Songs & BGM. This album focuses exclusively on the film Pink: Water Bandit, Rain Bandit. The three songs from the previous album Pink's theme "Mizutama no Umbrella",and the two image songs "Otomeha Mystery" and "GO AHEAD!!" were ported to this album along with the film's score.
