Akishima Station


Akishima Station is a railway station on the Ōme Line in Akishima, Tokyo, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company.

History

The station opened on 25 December 1938 as Shōwa-mae Station. It was renamed Akishima Station on 1 October 1959. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
