Alan, Şemdinli

Alan is a village in Hakkâri Province in southeastern Turkey. It is located in the district of Şemdinli.

History

In 1877, 100 Nestorian families inhabited Halana, and were served by two functioning churches as part of the archdiocese of Shemsdin.
