Alexander Baykov
Alexander Baykov - Russian metallurgist (1870-1946). He was born on July 25, 1870 in Fatezh and died on April 6, 1946 in Moscow. He graduated from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the Saint Petersburg University, the Imperial St. Petersburg University. He was awarded the Order of Saint Anna, 2nd class, the Order of Saint Anna, 3rd class, the Order of Lenin, the Merited Engineering Scientist of the RSFSR, the Medal "For the Defence of Leningrad", the Stalin Prize, the Hero of Socialist Labour, the Order of St. Vladimir, 4th class, the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
