Alfonsas Maldonis
Alfonsas Maldonis - Soviet writer and poet (1929-2007). He was born on August 22, 1929 in Novoplenta and died on October 6, 2007 in Vilnius. He graduated from the Vilnius University. He was awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.
