Altaf Raja


Altaf Raja is an Indian Qawwali singer. In 1994 Altaf gained recognition with his debut album Tum To Thehre Pardesi. His most recent album is Bum Gola.

Early life

Born in 1967 at Nagpur to professional Qawwals, Altaf Raja began musical training at the age of 15.

Career

Raja's breakthrough came in 1994 with the album Tum To Thehre Pardesi, which sold 4million units.
He is known for his excessively nasal style of singing.
Raja has also acted in Bollywood movies such as Shapath, Yamraaj, Mother, and Ghanchakkar.
