Alvin Ackerley


Alvin Ackerley was an English professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s. He played at representative level for Great Britain, England and Cumberland, and at club level for Broughton Moor ARLFC, Barrow, Workington Town, Brookland Rovers ARLFC, Halifax , and Hull Kingston Rovers, as a, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums.
