Amane Shindō


Amane Shindō is a Japanese voice actress currently affiliated with HiBiKi agency.

Career

Shindō was born in the Aichi Prefecture on April 20, 2004. She signed a contract with HiBiKi agency at the age of 14. In 2019 Amane Shindō made her voice acting debut in the anime series where she voiced Caro. She also voiced Shūko Mino in the Rebirth short anime series which belongs to the Rebirth for you card game released by Bushiroad.
Bushiroad announced Morfonica, the fourth live band - and the franchise's seventh installment overall - for the BanG Dream! franchise on March 20, 2020 with Shindō handling vocals and portraying in-universe character Mashiro Kurata. Shindō also is involved in the D4DJ media mix project by being part of the DJ unit Lyrical Lily and is voicing the in-universe character Haruna Kasuga.
Amane Shindō has faced large backlash from parts of the franchise's fans for her weak singing voice after parts of the fanbase were frustrated for Morfonica being implemented to the BanG Dream! Girls Band Party! smartphone game before fellow band RAISE A SUILEN was added to the game. As a result she was bullied and received death threats. Meanwhile, Bushiroad and her agency announced that they will take legal action against harassing comments against one of their affiliated members.

Voice

In an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu Shindō noted that she has a low voice in contrast to Mashiro's intended pitch, so she tries to perform Morfonica songs in a higher tone.
