American College (Brisbane)


The American College is a Nationally accredited private institution located at Woolloongabba, Brisbane, in Australia. American College has an articulation with Australian Catholic University and its graduates receive Advanced standing for various Bachelor degrees. American College is also in articulation with Alphacrucis College self accrediting institution for Bachelor programs and its graduates can continue their undergraduate studies at American College campus itself. College also has articulation with Christian Heritage College for Bachelor degrees.

History

American College was initially inaugurated in 2009 by Dr Bruce Flegg Minister of Education Queensland and Mark Ryan Member of Parliament. Current Campus was inaugurated in 2012 by Oscar Fernandes Member of Parliament India, James Marape Minister for Finance Papua New Guinea and Mark Stewart Member of Parliament Queensland.
The College was formed in 2008 and received approvals by the Australian Skills Quality Authority including registration on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students in 2009. College is a member in good standing of the industry association of and member of for protection of Fees of overseas students.

Campus

American College has a campus in Brisbane with ultra short throw projectors, computer library with state of the art training rooms for presentation, audio-visual and video conferencing along with student lounges. Workshops are arranged for students, guest lectures by industry captains, oral presentations and personality development soft skill courses are offered. Campus is only two and half kilometres from Brisbane CBD and is accessible by public transportation and train.
