Amethi (Assembly constituency)


Amethi is a constituency of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly covering the city of Amethi in the Amethi district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Amethi Vidhan Sabha seat is one of the five assembly constituencies which fall under Amethi. Since 2008, this assembly constituency is numbered 185 amongst 403 constituencies.
Currently this seat belongs to Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Garima Singh who won in last Assembly election of 2017 Uttar Pradesh Lagislative Elections defeating Samajwadi Party candidate Gayatri Prasad Prajapati by a margin of 5,065 votes.
