An amino acid reuptake inhibitor is a type of drug which inhibits the reuptake of one or more amino acid neurotransmitters by blocking one or more of their respective transporters. They include excitatory amino acid reuptake inhibitors, GABA reuptake inhibitors, and glycine reuptake inhibitors.
