Andy Emerton
Andrew Neil Emerton is a British Anglican priest. Since July 2020, he has been Bishop-designate of Sherwood in the Church of England.
From 2015 to 2020, he was Dean of St Mellitus College, a non-residential theological college in London. In March 2020, he was announced as the next Bishop of Sherwood, the suffragan bishop of the Diocese of Southwell and Nottingham: his consecration as a bishop was scheduled for 21 May 2020. That service being postponed because of the coronavirus pandemic, he was instead licensed as bishop-designate on 1 July and will be consecrated on a later date.
