Andy Valmorbida


Andy Valmorbida is the president of Untitled-1 Holdings, Australian-Born, New York-raised Andrew Valmorbida oversees the company’s fine art trading, art copyright and digital art platform divisions. In 2019, Untitled-1 finalized a joint venture with Love Watts, one of the world’s most authentic, emerging art social media platforms, amassing over 3.4 million followers since 2011.

Career

In 2015, after ten years of disrupting the traditional art world, Andrew recognized the value in acquiring visual art copyright, the next industry in line, to be shaken by digitization of a medium. Pioneer of the pop-up art show, from 2006 – 2013, he collaborated with everyone from Giorgio Armani and Bombardier Aerospace, to Jimmy Iovine and P. Diddy, reimagining the art show model. This put Andrew on the map, with tens of thousands attending his shows across the world.
A voice of his generation when it comes to discovering and fostering contemporary talent, he was the mastermind of such events first across the US, then his influence quickly spread to Europe, Eastern Europe, Central America, Asia and Australia. During this time, he also concentrated on building his art trading company, amassing a collection of over 500 blue chip paintings.

Personal life

Valmorbida was born in Melbourne, Australia and raised in New York City. He is the son of Italian immigrants. His stepfather was Phillip Ean Cohen founder and CEO of Morgan Schiff & Co. Andy is also known as a fashion influencer, with his trademark rooster hairstyle.

Education

Andrew Valmorbida completed a Bachelor in Business and Finance from Monash University.

Philanthropy

In 2010 Valmorbida curated and donated two rare Richard Hambleton pieces to the amfAR 17th Annual Cinema Against AIDS Gala During the Cannes Film Festival. The pieces sold for $960,000.
