On April 1, 2020 Jay made her first appearance in AEW on AEW Dynamite facing Hikaru Shida, losing by pinfall. On April 7, 2020 it was announced on Twitter that she had signed with the company due to impressing many people despite being relatively new to the wrestling business. On the June 17, 2020 episode of Dynamite, Jay returned to action but was defeated by Abadon. After the match, the Dark Order helped bringing her backstage. On the July 29 episode of Dynamite, Jay came out with the members of the Dark Order thus confirming her alliance with the group.
