History

The journal was established in 1972 as Annual Review of Biophysics and Bioengineering, and subsequently changed its title to Annual Review of Biophysics and Biophysical Chemistry and Annual Review of Biophysics and Biomolecular Structure, acquiring its current title in 2008. The founding editor was Manuel Morales.
