Anoop Sagar
Anoop Sagar is an Indian actor who has done Tulu language films. He is popularly known for his lead role in first international Tulu Movie Nirel, directed by Ranjith Bajpe and jointly produced by Shodhan Prasad and San Poojary. He went on further to work in yet another Tulu blockbuster Dhand. in a negative character and has received great reviews. An enthusiast and a lover of dance, he was also a part of the famous entertainment troupe called Ocean Kids Dance Company.
Early life
Anoop was born on 6 December at Sagar Shimoga, and later moved to Mangalore with his family. He has completed a Travel & Tourism diploma at Globe College of travel & tourism in Mangalore. Being part of famous dance troupe he has performed in various events around the globe, and this also led him to choreograph for various Bollywood and Sandalwood movie celebrities and Arabic artists.He has a sister, Anvita Sagar, who is also an actress in Tulu Movies. She has starred in the movie Dhand, opposite Sandeep Shetty.
Career
After completion of his studies in Mangalore, he was working in Mumbai as a Travel consultant for 2 years. Later he moved on to Dubai in search of better opportunities. As he was working in Dubai, always having dreamt to be an actor, he attended audition for Nirel, which was held at Fortune Grand Hotel Dubai, and got selected to play lead role. As shooting was done only during weekends, Nirel took one year to complete. Upon the release of Nirel, his acting skills well appreciated. Because of his lover boy image, he got many fans around the globe. Later, he signed for Dhand as a negative character as he wanted to experiment with roles. Anoop played role of Karthik, a drug addict in Dhand and his acting and action skills were much appreciated. He has also choreographed for dance sequences in both the movies.Filmography
