Anthony Carter (soccer)
Anthony Charles Carter is an Australian professional footballer who plays for Portuguese club Académico Viseu as a forward.Carter was born in Melbourne, Australia. He grew up in the suburb of Dandenong before moving to Italy, aged sixteen.Career
Carter signed a senior contract with Romanian club CFR Cluj in early 2013, having previously attended Genova International Soccer School. He made his competitive debut for the club as a substitute in the final minutes of a loss to Universitatea Cluj in April 2015. On 24 January 2018 he signed a four and a half years contract with Portuguese club S.L. Benfica, joining its reserve team of LigaPro.
