Antoine Herth


Antoine Herth is a French politician of the Democratic Movement  who has been serving as a member of the National Assembly of France since the 2002 elections, representing the Bas-Rhin department.

Political career

In parliament, Herth has been serving as member of the Committee on Economic Affairs since 2002. He has also been a member of the Committee on Sustainable Development and Spatial Planning and the Committee on Foreign Affairs.
In addition to his committee assignments, Herth chairs the French-Bulgarian Parliamentary Friendship Group. Since 2019, he has also been a member of the French delegation to the Franco-German Parliamentary Assembly.

Political positions

In the Republicans’ 2016 presidential primaries, Herth endorsed Bruno Le Maire as the party's candidate for the office of President of France.
In July 2019, Herth voted in favor of the French ratification of the European Union’s Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement with Canada.
