Apostolic Nunciature to the Czech Republic


The Apostolic Nuncio to the Czech Republic is an ecclesiastical office of the Roman Catholic Church. It is a diplomatic post of the Holy See, whose representative is called the Apostolic Nuncio with the rank of an ambassador. The office of the nunciature is located in Prague.

Nuncios

Archbishop Giovanni Coppa was named Apostolic Nuncio to Czechoslovakia on 30 June 1990. With the division on that country into Slovakia and the Czech Republic on 1 January 1993, Coppa became nuncio to each of them, based in Prague.
