Area 404


Area 404 is a nightclub in Bristol operated by Boomtown Productions, the team behind the annual Boomtown Fair. The venue occupies the former Trimite Powder Coatings building at 126 Albert Road, which has been used as office and production space for the associated festival fair since November 2017.

History

In August 2019, Boomtown were granted licencing approval to open a 3,500 capacity event space at their Bristol headquarters.
The first event to take place here was Boomtown Halloween, and was due to be a single night event on Saturday 2 November 2019. An extra three nights were added after fast ticket sales.

''The Emergency Broadcasts''

The Emergency Broadcasts were a series of live streamed live music events from Area 404 as a response to the postponement of all in-person events due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and featured a number of multi-genre performances from alumni.

Area 404 New Year's Eve Gathering

The Area 404 New Year's Eve Gathering took place on New Year's Eve 2019. Headliners included David Rodigan and Chinese Man. Tickets were £40.
