Armadale railway station, Melbourne


Armadale railway station is located on the Pakenham, Cranbourne and Frankston lines in Victoria, Australia. It serves the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Armadale and opened on 7 May 1879.
The station was completely rebuilt when the line to Caulfield was re-graded in the early 20th century. The work included the quadruplication of the line, allowing stopping and express trains to run simultaneously.

Armadale has four platforms. It is served by Metro Trains' Pakenham trains, Frankston, and Cranbourne line services.

It is planned to connect the Pakenham and Cranbourne lines to the Sunbury line through the new Metro Tunnel in late 2025.
