Aroa Aroa is a genus of moths in the subfamily Lymantriinae first described by Francis Walker in 1855. Species are distributed in South Africa , China , throughout India , Sri Lanka , Myanmar, and Java.Description They are diurnal fliers. The genus differs from Orgyia due to much longer palpi and less-hairy body . Third joint prominent . Legs are less hairy . Female has fully developed wings.
