Artas is a town in Campbell County, South Dakota, United States. The population was 9 at the 2010 census.

History

Artas was platted in 1901 when the railroad was extended to that point. Artas is a name derived from Greek, meaning "bread", the town being located in the Wheat belt. A post office was established at Artas in 1901.
