Ashley Webster


Ashley Webster is a business news journalist for the Fox Business Network, a business news channel he joined in September 2007 as its Overseas Markets Editor. Webster, who was born in Brighton, United Kingdom and was raised in Los Angeles, was based in the network's London bureau before transferring to Fox Business News, New York.

Career overview

Before joining FBN—and returning to his native country—in 2007, Webster was an anchor at WZTV, a Fox affiliate in Nashville, for 10 years. Webster also helped launch the news department of NBC affiliate WGBA-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin in 1996 as the station's first male co-anchor. He also anchored at CBS affiliate KSWT-TV in Yuma, Arizona.
Webster began his journalism career at NBC affiliate KTVH-TV in Helena, Montana, where he worked as a news director. Before that, he had spent 6 years in London, working for the Bank of Montreal and Lloyds Bank.
Webster earned a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism from California State University.
