Associate Deputy Attorney General
Associate Deputy Attorney General is a position in the United States Department of Justice. As of 2017, there are six such positions, all of which rank equally, who serve as the principal advisors to the Deputy Attorney General. There is also a separate Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General. All positions are Senior Executive Service appointments, each of which can be filled as a career appointment or as a political appointment.
The position is not to be confused with the Deputy Associate Attorneys General, who report to the Associate Attorney General.List
