Atilio Ancheta


Atilio Genaro Ancheta Weigel is a former footballer from Uruguay, who played for the national team at the 1970 FIFA World Cup. He was a defender and spent most of his career with Grêmio Football Porto-Alegrense, appearing in 164 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A matches. In 1973, he received the Brazilian Bola de Ouro award.
Ancheta made 20 appearances for the Uruguay national football team from 1969 to 1971.
