Attavyros (municipality) Attavyros is a former municipality on the island of Rhodes , in the Dodecanese , Greece . Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Rhodes, of which it is a municipal unit .Geography The population is 2,433 ; the land area is 234.350 km² . It is the westernmost municipal unit on the island , occupying the central portion of its western coast . The seat of the municipality was in Emponas . Its largest other towns are Ágios Isídoros and Kritinia .
